<< Back to Home Page

The Branch County Commission on Aging provides transportation to medical appointments. This service is provided by volunteer drivers who use the BCCOA’s van to transport clients. A van with wheelchair lift capabilities is also available. This service is available on a first come, first served basis so it is recommended you call as far in advance as you can to schedule rides. BCCOA volunteer van drivers will pick you up at your home, transport you to your appointment, and then transport you back home when you are done. This service is available for medical appointments both within the county and outside of the county.

  • Resident of Branch County
  • Sixty (60) years of age or older

Funding: this service is funded by state and federal grant funds. Clients are offered the opportunity to donate toward the cost of their service; however a donation is not required.

For more information on this service or to schedule an appointment for a medical trip, call the H. & C. Burnside Senior Center 517-279-6565 and ask for Sarah.
